2.2 Light Sensor

The primary goal concerning the light sensor was to see to what amount it is able to distinguish different colors. Figure 1.6 shows a diagram of different sensor readings that were acquired by placing several colored papers within certain distances to the light sensor. The measurements where done in the sensor's reflected light mode.

The results show that the sensor readout depends on the distance of the measured object, which makes it difficult to generally assign certain colors to sensor values.
